I have been on the recieving end so yes I do know what it feels like, perhaps being able to laugh it off so to speak has healing in it

Did that long ago, that's different than the sad mockery practiced by some. ..... When you get either mocked or ignored, but no genuine friendship....some folks are practiced at these things, maybe they've been on the social circus scene for a long time and are bitter.

YES!! I saw it in the theater when it came out with a die hard Dune fan. He wasn't happy with the film but I loved it.

I saw it at the cinema in the year it came out. I saw it with friends from my Presbyterian Church. They were not very impressed. I like it because it was the first sci fi film that I could remember that made religion central to human society. The religion was some kind of Orange-Catholic thing. Being Presbyterians they might not have like the inclusion of Catholic in the name. I was Presbyterian at the time too. But perhaps I had some sort of nascent Catholicism hidden away where nobody (including me) could see it. I do remember that at the time I listened to and liked John Michael Talbot CDs and Tapes

I may even have bought the Catechism that was instrumental in my conversion.

hi friends, I was MIA these past few weeks..my pc crashed. I lost many downloaded programs, but was able to recreate them. but thank god all my saved images folders are kept safe on the flash drives..all 78GB..if they were stored on pc, wow..i would be devastated.
