While I do venerate Mary and I know some will disagree, I think there is a limit. I had seen on an Orthodox forum that there was a discussion about the Psalter having been rewritten to fit Mary which I find overboard and as some of the other posters said, Mariolatry. It was weird seeing the Psalms and in particular Psalm 51 which I love being rewritten for Mary.

I use certain titles for Mary including Theotokos, Mother of God, All Holy One(Panagia), but I just can't use the titles such as Queen of Heaven, they just don't sit right with me.

Never use titles that cause your conscience trouble but always remember that titles given to God's servants are given because they serve God and thus they glorify God rather than the one who is given the title thus when we speak of Blessed Mary we remind ourselves that God blessed her by causing her to become the mother of our Lord Jesus Christ and when we call Mary Holy we remind ourselves that God separated Mary from worldly pursuits to serve as his handmaiden. If we speak of Blessed Mary as Queen of Heaven it is because God raised her up to be mother of the Lord of Glory who is our King and who reigns in heaven and on Earth so Mary is Queen as the mother of the King is always queen because she is his mother and he is King. There is no glory given to creatures that does not come from God and there is no title given to praise the faithful that is not a greater praise of God whom they serve.

I've never understood the Queen of Heaven title even though some say that since Jesus is King, Mary as His Mother would be the Queen. I just don't like how it sounds since it seems a bit much no offense.

What you say does not offend me. The one you say it about is not me.

What do you mean?

Your comment was about Blessed Mary. You said about Blessed Mary "I've never understood the Queen of Heaven title even though some say that since Jesus is King, Mary as His Mother would be the Queen. I just don't like how it sounds since it seems a bit much". I am not offended by the remark.
