In the holy scriptures Christians are sometimes called saints. The idea is that they - as Christians - are God's holy people. Separated from worldliness and from the ambitions of the worldly. But there is also another sense in which one may be a saint. One may be a good example to others, holy in life and conduct in the sense of living an exemplary moral life marked by wisdom and compassion. What kind of saint would you want to be if you were able?

Yes, I think I wrote that in the first post. It's an important things to keep in mind.

But, you put so many qualifiers in your first post. All that is required for a person to be a saint is to be a born again Christian. Then you asked what kind of saint I would be IF I was able. I am a saint by the Holy Spirit that dwells in me.

I suppose I would be the kind of saint who is ever faithful, yet the problem is that we are the same as the Israelites in that we keep turning from God. Thankfully He keeps turning me back :)

The Israelites had examples of holy people who they could emulate. Some of the prophets and some priests were remarkable for their holiness and so too were some women, like Ruth.
