After that how will one have access to the arcade?

Eventually through site subscriptions, but also through random giveaways and the ability to purchase arcade access at limited time in the upcoming site shop. :)

Site Subscriptions are paid through real currency, and then through the shop is done by CH Cash. :)
So would you pay with real money, and then the amount would be deducted from your CH cash or would CH cash earn limited access; while real money would earn access as long as you paid the subscription?

We would have a item in the shop to where purchasing it would give you access to the arcade for that duration that is specified in that item. That would be paid solely in CH Cash. Site Subscriptions give you access as long as your subscription is running. Now granted, whenever we have the option to purchase arcade access in the shop, you could also buy that to hold onto for when your subscription runs out.

Did I make any sense, or did I just cause more confusion? :p

That is not good. I have never experienced any issues with PayPal besides a small dispute with a user, but I am sure that if the situation so arises, we can work something out. :)

That's good to hear. :)

Curious. The only problem I had with PayPal was when an ebay buyer paid for a "collection only" item and then took so long not collecting it that I cancelled the purchase. PayPal automatically refunded his money, and were kind enough to keep their fees for processing the payment for the deal that was cancelled.

Did you have your identity stolen, or did someone get at your PayPal account?

The reason I ask is that if you had picked up some spyware or some such that logged your keypresses it could have given the password away to a remote hacker, who could then log in and help themselves to your PayPal account.

I will say more and more you are losing that option; at least the option to not give SOME information out as things have gotten more computerized. I cannot really remember really well when things were not on computers, but then again just under half your age here. lol

Nothing wrong with that. I was only 13 or 14 back then. (I JUST turned 24 on Saturday. As a result, I am not very well versed in on-line transactions back then.

Hacking is a lot more sophisticated but I get the impression that a few smarts will protect you from the worst of it. A lot of "hacking" these days is actually more like social engineering, where some ruse or other is used to persuade you to hand over your password.

The most common ones I see are the ones from a bank that says your account will be frozen unless you log in and update your information (and the link goes to a copy of the site that will store your login details), or from PayPal saying you've got a transaction but need to sign in to accept the payment (and the link also goes to a clone site that will record your login details), or some such.

Most of the time a little skepticism goes a long way to protect you from that sort of thing.

If you do get a mail apparently from your bank saying there's a problem that you need to fix right away, and you'd rather not take the risk that it's a genuine one, you can always call the bank (look them up in the phone book, never call the number on the email). Or you can go directly to their web site by typing it in yourself.

You can usually spot the fake mails easily enough by hovering your mouse pointer over the link. Often you'll find the link says "www.megabank.com/login" but if you hover over it the status bar at the bottom says something more like "www.kjkjeuu.cn/~op554/login.asp" - that is the address you'll actually go to if you visit the link. Don't be surprised if it looks exactly like the site you'd get if you went to megabank.com, and if you attempt to log in you'll be told your password is incorrect and then redirected to the real site. The idea is that you assume you mistyped your password, try again, and then get in as expected.

99% of the time I delete messages like that but every once in a while, if it goes to a disposable email address, I attempt to log in but write a message to the scammers in the username and password field.
