Here's a prophecy that describes the Catholic Church and Vatican and the Protestant denominations. None of them have anything to do with Christ but they do have a lot to do with the Beast.

Daniel 2:
36: "This was the dream; now we will tell the king its interpretation.

The feet of iron describes the Roman Catholic Church and it's ruling government called the Vatican ( Papal ). The feet of clay represents the Protestant denominational churches who broke away from the Vatican rulers. The toes of iron and clay are the governments of the countries who submit to the powers of Christianity.

It's typical that Christians cannot interpret these prophecies in Daniel and Revelation without being selfish. They will crawl to their graves in denial that the feet of iron and clay describes Christianity that was formed around the building of false gods according to the Beast that teaches man how to build false gods with their human hands.

You are mistaken because when the Lord Jesus Christ was on the cross he said "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me" and he was quoting one of the psalms but he did not mention that he quoted from a psalm nevertheless his disciples knew it because they knew the psalms so I quote from the holy scriptures anticipating that the faithful know it because they recognise the voice of God in the words of the holy scriptures and can identify where the words come from. The psalm that Jesus quoted is this one. To the choirmaster: according to The Doe of the Dawn. A Psalm of David.
