The Lord Jesus Christ spoke of leadership in the church in this way "They came to Capernaum, and when he got into the house he asked them, 'What were you arguing about on the road?' They said nothing, because on the road they had been arguing which of them was the greatest. So he sat down, called the Twelve to him and said, 'If anyone wants to be first, he must make himself last of all and servant of all.' He then took a little child whom he set among them and embraced, and he said to them, 'Anyone who welcomes a little child such as this in my name, welcomes me; and anyone who welcomes me, welcomes not me but the one who sent me.' " [Mark 9:33-37]

I wonder how leaders are chosen or called ...

Yes, this certainly appears to be a very strong condemnation of the modern individual RC Denomination. But no, Jesus is not here speaking of any denomination nor does it say ANYTHING about selecting leaders or leaders having the sort of power-mongering, power-quest, obsession over lording it over others like the Gentiles do that we sadly see in some denominations.

How does your denomination choose leaders, brother Josiah?

If one is a leader then he is a servant anything less and it is not of God

Yes, what you wrote is true. How does your meeting choose its leaders?

Depends, one church is Methodist and of course it is done by the district and the other is independant and was started by the pastor who in turn chooses those who God tells him to

How does God tell him who is to be a leader?

Why do you ask? You already have said God doesnt speak even though I know He does, you ignore any leading that doesnt come from the church so I feel it would be a waste to say anything else

I masked because I'd like to see what you have to say on the matter.

He prays, listens, talks to God and God directs him in all he does, he is the most reverant man I have ever met and he genuinely cares about everyone

He sounds like a good pastor for his flock.

My guess is that even when saint Paul was writing his letters to Timothy choosing leaders was a difficult task. The qualification are rather daunting in a way don't you think?
