If they just hop inside once in a while and drop their lakritz like stuff it's not that bad and it doesn't become a mess. That's when I have them inside with those huge cages the whole day. I was starting to feel like a farmer when I cleaned up here. Now only the balcony is messy, but I never used it anyway.

Well I thought I'd "treat" myself. I was out of coffee, so I wanted to run to the store and get some b4 they close at midnight - and for some reason I thought Oreo cookies would be a good change and treat. I haven't had any for years. I usually avoid super sweet things like this anyway, except for fruit on the rare occasion.
Half a box later...
The sugar is surging through my blood...
I feel fatigued and twitchy at the same time.
Ok. They tasted good. I don't think I'll buy them again for another 10 years.

Very warm and sticky here today. The air conditioning in my study/workshop is rated for a room nearly twice the size but still struggles, largely because the room is in the full glare of the sun all day. Sooner or later I'm going to have to rip down the inner wall, line the space with decent insulation and put fresh drywall up. I just need to figure out where I'm going to put all my computer gear and clocks - neither are very fond of dust and the amount of dust this job will produce will destroy them all!
I suspect the guest bedroom is going to become a spare study/workshop pending the completion of the work.
