new PC in just a few weeks.

if i play my cards right, i will get my new laptop by july 4th. i have done many searches on various pc's to see which ones that would suit my needs as well as the price of 299 dollars. looking at target, wal mart and office max..best buy is final choice. its an asus model. iam praying that the store will have it in stock..otherwise i would have to wait till they order more. right now, iam using vista. but soon, win10. iam on a tech forum getting insights on win 10 from other users who have it -to ready myself.

I love my Asus! I got it for Christmas. I had only one real issue where Microsoft 10 had a burp and wouldn't let me open up anything from the start menu. But logging out, rebooting and logging back up cleared that and I haven't had an issue since. The Mic/speakers aren't the best though.

Honestly I wouldn't expect much from the speakers in any laptop. When I bought my current laptop I paid the equivalent of nearly $2000 for it and that didn't include any software, even windows was extra. The speakers sound nice but they are still small and don't offer a whole lot of volume. There's only so much you can do with a small corner of a small box.
