Just wondering: Is the community record of the "thanks" and "likes" being maintained? Just seems to me the numbers haven't changed in AGES..... perhaps I'm wrong about that. Just wondering.

We have disabled the "Thanks" but not the "Likes" since they were so similar and it didn't make sense to keep both. So the Thanks is not being updated since we disabled the option in the forums.
