You should see my house. My study has one clock partially dismantled that I'm going to fix for a friend, a movement removed from its case but that has a very badly stuck screw that I'm trying to figure out how to loosen without having to drill it out and make another one. It also has a working (quartz) carriage clock, another curious clock (also quarts) that I picked up cheaply, and something like 250 watches in various states of repair. My living room has a mantel clock and a carriage clock (both working). My basement has over a dozen clocks in various states of disrepair, including two that work perfectly and one that's a really nice movement mounted on a basic board (I bought that from a guy years ago, it's kinda cool). I've also got a couple more dead clocks sitting around, a boxful of cuckoo clock parts and a bunch of assorted incomplete clock movements.
Some day I'll get them all working. I keep threatening my wife that I'm going to get them all working and put them all around the house
