We can be void of any ACTS of sin for a time.... but that doesn't mean we've ceased to be sinful.
I very rarely get colds (can't remember the last one) but lets say I have one. Now, perhaps I take a handful of powerful pills - and thus I'm not (AT THIS SECOND) coughing or sneezing, and I don't have a runny nose or sore throat. Do I have a cold? Yup. Just no symptoms at this moment.
sounds absolutely faithless . what your saying is you sin becaseu your a sinner so becaseu you are a sinner you serve sin...
do you not actually beleive that jesus has set you free from being a slave to sin .
a slave is not son and a son is not a slave .. you keep doing that sin your won't name because you love it and you dont want to stop doing ti . you love it more than you love the lord jesus ,so you keep doing it you keep serving that sin and are come under bondage to it by your own doing .. you must repent .
we dont have to be void of Acts of sin and then start doing them again.. why should you ? why would you want to do that which brings death? why would you want to be entangled again ,why would you want to come under bondage again by serving that old master .. why would you want to live according to the old nature when the lord jesus has set you free from that master that we might now serve god in righteousness ?
and nothing can compel us beyond our own will and force us to sin .. for there is no temptation that is not common to man and god does not allow you to be tempted above your ability to resist ... not EVER .. so since at every time according to the word of god (not me ) why do you insist that you can't resist doing that act .. when God has stated that he does not allow you to be tempted beyond your ability to resist ...
you have got to start believing the scripture . and stop making excuses to carry on sinning .
