It's getting to be that time of year again...Spring Break!

Did you ever go on a big Spring Break trip? Would you consider going on one now?

I never did anything wild for Spring Break. I never had the money! LOL

Spring Break isn't really a concept in the UK so never did much for it, although one year my then girlfriend came to England to visit me over Spring Break. That was the week we got engaged :)

Now I avoid holiday times to travel because I don't like paying premium rates for a more crowded experience. I've got the freedom to travel on days that suit me, so pick the cheapest dates available. It seems to me that travelling during holiday periods represents a lose-lose-lose situation where I lose once because the prices are hiked, I lose again because everything is crowded, and families with children lose because I took up a space they could have had.

Spring seems like a nice time to vacation in some parts of the US.
