Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King proclaimed his dream: That a day would come when his children would be judged NOT by the color of their skin but by the content/character of their hearts. He longed for a colorless society, where what we do and who we are matters - not our race, color, ethnicity, gender.

No one hates that dream more than liberals and Hollywood. We see that again now, with the protest over a lack of any "person of COLORED skin" being nominated for an important category. Liberals are going to boycott the ceremony, some claim, because they are uber-focused on the color of skin and can't find any non-white-skinned folks among the primary nominees for the most important honors. In other words, proclaiming they are racists and protest Martin Luther King's dream.

And I might add..... HAD they chosen to nominate a "person of COLORED skin" in spite of worthiness, bumping a person NOT of colored skin in order to nomination one who HAS colored skin because that one HAS colored skin.... not only would that be a pure racist act, but what a slam to that nominee..... there BECAUSE of racism, BECAUSE of the color of their skin.

King's dream is kept from reality..... mostly by liberals who remain OBSESSED with skin color, race, ethnicity, gender.

The Oscars is a very political award . People have to be willing to do all kind of perverted and sick things to even be considered. The people protesting are really protesting that. It is not about color as they say. That black actress that won a few years back was blackballed because she would not play "the game". The ones who won't play get ignored or they get destroyed. Most of the "winners" are Scientologist and into child sacrifice. Why did Tom Cruise's wife take their daughter and run? John Travolta's son died mysteriously. He knew exactly what happened imho. Why do they insist that men cross dress? My opinion is the "winners" of the Oscars may well be the losers.

Ahh, yes, racism comes in all forms and not just against one ethnic group.

Liberals don't hate his dream!! Where did you ever get that from? They just want all races of people to be included in the choosing process when they are worthy of being chosen!

Providing they are worthy which in this case I think they werer but affirmative action was as racist as the opposite. Worthy people were kept out of things because of their white color and that wasnt right either, the best person should move ahead based on ability or grades not skin color

Yup, racists. As this fuss in the Oscars: "colored skinned!" How Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King must be weeping, turning over in his grave. How sad....
