Are you saying you don't want to talk about tithing because you think the bible is saying not to talk about it because of that verse?

Maybe a comparison to Acts will Help.

'Thus all the tithe of the land, of the seed of the land or of the fruit of the tree, is the ... Every tenth of the land's produce, grain from the soil or fruit from the trees, ...

Ananias and Sapphira
1But a certain man named Ananias, with Sapphira his wife, sold a possession, 2And kept back [part] of the price, his wife also being privy [to it], and brought a certain part, and laid [it] at the apostles' feet. 3But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back [part] of the price of the land? 4Whiles it remained, was it not thine own? and after it was sold, was it not in thine own power? why hast thou conceived this thing in thine heart? thou hast not lied unto men, but unto God. 5And Ananias hearing these words fell down, and gave up the ghost: and great fear came on all them that heard these things. 6And the young men arose, wound him up, and carried [him] out, and buried [him].

7And it was about the space of three hours after, when his wife, not knowing what was done, came in. 8And Peter answered unto her, Tell me whether ye sold the land for so much? And she said, Yea, for so much. 9Then Peter said unto her, How is it that ye have agreed together to tempt the Spirit of the Lord? behold, the feet of them which have buried thy husband [are] at the door, and shall carry thee out. 10Then fell she down straightway at his feet, and yielded up the ghost: and the young men came in, and found her dead, and, carrying [her] forth, buried [her] by her husband. 11And great fear came upon all the church, and upon as many as heard these things.

Reading all of Malachi will give more insight.

Fruit of the Spirit.
Malachi 3

10Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that [there shall] not [be room] enough [to receive it]. 11And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the LORD of hosts. 12And all nations shall call you blessed: for ye shall be a delightsome land, saith the LORD of hosts.

James 1
Contrast of the Rich and Poor
11For the sun rises with a scorching wind and withers the grass; and its flower falls off and the beauty of its appearance is destroyed; so too the rich man in the midst of his pursuits will fade away. 12Blessed is a man who perseveres under trial; for once he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him.

Mixing metaphors is fun but doesn't answer the question.

Do you mean store it up and give it all in one lump sum?
Exodus 23
10 And six years thou shalt sow thy land, and shalt gather in the fruits thereof:

11 But the seventh year thou shalt let it rest and lie still; that the poor of thy people may eat: and what they leave the beasts of the field shall eat. In like manner thou shalt deal with thy vineyard, and with thy oliveyard.

Jesus the True Vine
1"I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. 2"Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit, He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit, He prunes it so that it may bear more fruit.…

All and some remember Joseph.
How the Blessing is carried to the one who holds dear the promise.
And may the path be waved with a palm near the water.

What is your answer to the question though?

Would that be the full blessing or 10% of it?

Many people claim that "God says so" even the local Kingdom Hall elder (one of Jehovah's witnesses) tell me that when he explains their doctrines. I doubt claims like that unless they have convincing evidence to back them up. If passages from the old testament are what you rely upon for the claim that "we are to tithe" then you'll have to make a good case for why old covenant commands about financing the temple and the tribe of Levi carry over to new testament times and the Christian Church in which there is not tribe of Levi and no temple except the body of Christ which is called the temple of the Holy Spirit and as far as I am able to discern that temple needs no money for its upkeep.

I rather prefer to think of my giving as a cheerful offering rather than some mandatory tithe and I think that's what God would prefer from us.
