The thing is there are many who present themselves as having faith and being followers of God, but only talk the talk and never do the walk. Christ speaks on this..
Matthew 23:28
Even so ye also outwardly appear righteous unto men, but within ye are full of hypocrisy and iniquity.

It's the job of the Holy Spirit to guide us into the works He has planned for us. You still see the sinful side of people, whereas the Holy Spirit is working in them.

just a quick observation, we usually see what we look for, be it the sins of the person or their good works through the Holy Spirit.

Look for the best in someone and you will bring it out, look for the worst in someone and you will bring that out instead.

That's true too, which is why WE can't always see evidence of faith, but God knows.

So do they follow the truth they are given as the Holy Spirit guides them in the truth from Gods Word or no change.

There will be change, but you will also see them as the sinful human beings that they still are. Believers are both sinners and saints.
