In the bible does Jesus say to forgive 77 times?And can you forgive more then 77? :)

Yes. We are called to forgive others just as Jesus forgives us. 7 in historical biblical times represented perfection and I was told that 77 meant infinite, but I don't remember why.

One thing forgiveness gets you is peace of mind. Even if you're not going to do it for the person who wronged you, do it for yourself because of your own sanity. I'll surely forgive but I wouldn't forget.
