Favorite place to vacation or visit

Where is your favorite place to vacation or visit? I went on a day trip once to Yosemite in 1988 and thought that it was incredibly beautiful. Lake Tahoe was also very beautiful.

We like to vacation near water and my husband chooses the ocean as his choice over a lake. Our vacations are usually to go visit family/friends though, but every few years we try to take a quick trip to the beach!

For us it’s been Destin, Florida for me but I’ve been developing a fear of the ocean in recent years. Rip currents, sharks, drowning……..

My mother in law use to rent a cabin somewhere either the beach or the mountain during the summer and we would all meet there for a week. We don't do that anymore now that the kids are grown up.
