One of the odd things about would-be-prophets is that many (probably the vast majority) want something for their services be it fame and importance or be it money in the end those who follow them pay for the 'privilege'.

This is just one of many differences between the people on international stages and the people who just get on with stuff without any of the fanfare. The people who can give an encouraging word that's just what a specific individual needs to hear at just the right time, yet without the billboards proclaiming them as prophets or inviting Joe Sixpack to pay $50 to hear them speak.

In my personal opinion that is a dead giveaway that they indeed are not along the narrow path. One advocating for a cause is one thing. One advocating for ones self or associations is another wholly.

Faith in selfless Unity for Good.

The ones I have known best wanted to be recognised by pastors and friends as spiritual people with gifts to offer.
