We had our front door replaced this morning and we discovered we have termites. An exterminator is coming out Monday to inspect and give us an estimate for treatment. What has been your experience for termites?

The house that my wife owned when we got married was found to have some termites underneath the house once. We had them come out and treat it and had to redo all the insulation under the house because of moisture damage. I remember it well because I replaced all the insulation myself. I believe the guy who treated the termites said that the moisture may have attracted the termites.

I was told they're attracted to moisture damage, which is why they liked my front door.
