And like Apostle Paul said 1 Corinthians 1 that we all in Christ should be speaking the same thing. That certainly does not mean it's OK for each to have a different opinion about the true interpretation of God's Word. There is only one True interpretation of God's Word, and it is per what God determines. Let me explain further...

I think you're missing what "speaking the same thing" means here. We need to be united on what is important but there's a big difference between unity and uniformity. We can't be "speaking the same thing" if we are allowed to have different opinions on music style, on how often to take communion, on which way to vote and so on. There clearly is room for difference, just not in matters of theological importance.

We are to allow God's Word to interpret God's Word, the example being two or more witnesses to establish every word. So those who introduce a foreign idea into the reading of The Bible, which has no Biblical witness, or that flat denies a Scripture as written, reveals the devil's working. What can we do then? This is where the Great Equalizer steps in, The Holy Spirit. The Word of God was written via The Holy Spirit, and He is required in order for us to properly understand His Word. Age of Reason type thinking is only useful up to a point. This is why many brethren never progress to the "strong meat" of God's Word. They are kept on the "milk" of God's Word, trusting in their Church organization or some man's opinion.

... and what you're describing here allows cults to flourish. Take a few people (many more than the "two or three" mentioned in Scripture) who all agree on some aberrant interpretation of Scripture, insist that "by the mouths of two or three shall the matter be established" and conclude that the matter is established. For bonus points make grandiose claims about spiritual insights denied to the lesser members of the congregation and demand that people fall in behind you.

If that means those are small matters, then it shouldn't be something that 'creates' a division in the Body of Christ. Yet that's exactly what those kind of small matters have done throughout Christian history.

It shouldn't create the division that it does, but that's nothing to do with line-by-line Bible study.

I wouldn't be so quick to pass line upon line Bible study off, because that is the method which God is recommending in that Isaiah 28 Chapter. He is simply using the mocking words of those leaders at Jerusalem against themselves, as they are complaining that His Word must be, precept upon precept, line upon line, here a little and there a little, as if they were like little children.

I'm not passing it off, I'm saying it's not the only valid way of doing it. Line by line has the potential to focus on what's right here and miss the cross-references.

(lots of fluff about unrelated stuff pruned)

Nah... I'm not missing what Paul means. Many in Church organizations determine what 'they' think is important for the congregation all the time, and at times it has nothing to do with keeping God's Word as written. I won't mention the particular ancient Christian denomination that is worse at doing that, but I could easily give examples. So the subject still is, and has been, what God says in His Word, precept upon precept, line upon line, here a little and there a little, like He said in Isaiah 28.

Awesome. Can't beat a simple "nah" in response to an assertion. Good job.

Brethren in Christ, please hear what God is showing with that 'precept upon precept' line upon line Bible study method He gave in Isaiah 28.

FACTS ABOUT THOSE WHO REBEL AGAINST THAT ISAIAH 28 SCRIPTURE:

There are those on men's traditions that do not like that line upon line Bible study idea from God. There's several reasons why those men are like that.

a. first of all, line upon line, chapter by chapter Bible study is NOT how many preachers are taught in the seminaries. It is more popularly taught to just keep the congregation on the 'milk' of God's Word, and keep up with duties of Church administration and such. In most Churches, they don't have a separate evangelist whose main job is to preach The Gospel, and then a pastor-teacher whose main job is to actually teach Bible only. Some Churches do have those separate roles of an evangelist, a Bible teacher who is a Hebrew or Greek scholar, and Ministers that do various administration for the congregation.

b. secondly, most preachers are not able... to teach The Bible with that line upon line method simply because they have yet to go through all their Bible line upon line to know how... to teach that method. The seminaries don't prepare them for that; they have to learn that on their own.

Thusly, it is much easier for those to stick to a weekly sermon type of teaching about a Bible topic, skipping around in Bible Scripture without actually covering the 'context' of the Chapter where those verses are written. That method is more in line with the requirement of college universities teaching the 'scientific method' instead of how God showed to cover His Word line upon line per Isaiah 28.

c. thirdly, some preachers treat preaching like a business, seeking wealth from it.

d. fourthly, some preachers are secret members of occult fraternities, and thus preach according to their agendas for this world, just because of, once again, men's traditions. I know a brother in Christ who's father is a member of the Masonic Fraternity and a pastor over a Church. It is impossible to have 2 masters Lord Jesus said.

e. and fifth, without line upon line Bible study, one will not receive the 'flow' of God's Teaching by The Holy Spirit. God's Word is unlike any other type of literature known to man, and was given through holy men as they were moved by The Holy Spirit. And often a Bible Chapter can contain a type of 'test' at the end of the Chapter just to determine if we are paying attention to what is written. Because of this, skipping along with just pulling out a couple of verses out a Chapter, God's main Message in the Chapter can easily be missed, and what does that do for what the congregation will hear? They won't hear all... of what God Himself has said. The Ezekiel 13 chapter is a good lesson on this, as God rebukes those who try to claim, "God said", and He didn't speak to them.
