Climate change is linked to the decline of piracy on the high seas too.

It's the difference between a correlation and a causation. Correlation doesn't imply causation, a fact many people fail to grasp.

Of course the high priests of the man made climate change religion sometimes feel the need to generate some additional shock and alarm to get more people to buy into their faith.

I certainly am no criminologist, but I suspect the "heat-wave" crimes are more spur of the moment kinds of things, whereas terrorism likely tends to be plotted out over a long period of time.

What sort of crime is correlated to warm temperatures?

It's easy to see how opportunistic thefts would rise when people leave doors and windows open, and it's not such a huge stretch to see crimes against women increasing as they wear looser and smaller clothing (and to be clear, that doesn't mean it's the woman's fault for wearing cooler clothing). What about other types of crime - I'd have thought some types of crime would occur more in the winter when there's more darkness to hide the misdeeds.

I dont agree with global warming but the fact that warmer weather is tied to a rise in crime is well documented
