I can't blame Trump. Myself, I still say Trump is a lousy human being, despite seeing why many voted him in to protest a condescending party (democrats) who are just as evil.

I will keep saying Republicans could have chosen a better candidate and all this trouble Trump is in - is stuff he did to himself, there is no conspiracy to keep him down, at least not enough to account for his crimes. Also, nobody made him disrespect veterans which I find incredibly despicable.

Some of Trump's issues are undoubtedly self-inflicted. But the endless legal battles he's caught up in look more motivated by politics than justice.

Also GWB served two terms and then stood down. Term limits mean he would never stand again. There's no need to neutralise a candidate who is already prohibited from standing for another term.

Trump served one term and failed to win a second term, leaving him free to try again as often as he wanted until he either achieved a second term or stopped trying. It seems the Democrats wanted to bog him down by whatever means necessary to stop him from winning in 2024, and maybe repeating the performance if there was any indication he might run again in 2028.

Being a lowlife makes him an easy target. We also don't know his association with Jeff Epstien and also the comments about veterans being "losers and suckers" is the lowest of the low.

All it takes to solve the problem is pick another candidate. We don't need the crazy uncle as the candidate and every family has one. They're good for comedy only.

Nasty comments about veterans aren't helpful, I won't argue with that. Jeffrey Epstein is a bit of a wild card because we don't know about all sorts of other associations. Presumably some very powerful people want that information buried or I imagine it would have surfaced by now. Whether it affects Trump or any other candidates is impossible to know.

All it takes to solve the problem is pick another candidate. We don't need the crazy uncle as the candidate and every family has one. They're good for comedy only.

It looks like the electorate voted largely on the economy, in which case it's possible that whoever carried the (R) and (D) tags at the top of the ticket the (R) would have won. But we can never know for sure. Anyway, for better or worse we've got Trump for four more years and then we can more or less forget about him, unless he decides to have a go at a Senate seat or something where there are no term limits.

Nasty comments about veterans aren't helpful

Well, they're pretty nasty. He was basically saying that unless soldiers won in battle, they were suckers and losers. Also, on top of that, he won't have photographs with wounded veterans.

Note: this is coming from a person whose only military experience was military school, and he also wimped out of Vietnam, using a medical excuse that I'd say his rich dad paid for.
