Did Christ die for them that are perishing ?

2 Cor 2:14-15

14 Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place.

15 For we are unto God a sweet savour of Christ, in them that are saved, and in them that perish:

Both times we have them that are saved versus them that perish !

What makes the difference ? Is it Christs death or no ?

When people refuse God it shows they are dead in sins, since men are by nature dead in sin, and at enmity against God, its only natural for spiritually dead sinnes to refuse God Rom 8:7-8

7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.

8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.

We don't receive the benefits of salvation until our deaths or until Christ returns. God has stated through the scriptures that man can reject Him, and thus damns himself. Those men do not receive the benefits of the cross.

Thats false because its only partially true. Sure there are benefits the saved will receive in the future in the glorified state, but they received reconciliation[were reconciled to God] by His death in their unconverted state. Thats plainly stated Rom 5:10

Why is this benefit/blessing being overlooked, minimized or denied ?
