Sounded like "white" to me. It's a rare American that doesn't pronounce their "R"s. I imagine though it wasn't deliberate, rather probably a slip of the tongue.

Big deal. Had a black man said we will win because we are black, would he be questioned? Of course not. That is accepted. That is rich in culture. But a white man being proud of being white?....that is a disgrace in good ole U.S.A.

Americans are so stupid...and Christian America is part and parcel of the problem. They reject the Bible for America's diversity religion, Americas faith. They would rather sing 'Battle Hymn of the Republic' then 'Jerusalem', a hymn used in the movie 'Chariots of Fire'.

Slip of the tongue, it follows several words that start with "w" in his statement just prior. "I cannot wait for the day we win, we will, we're white..." like him or not I think anyone stopping to think for a moment can see how it would happen.
