My curfew was 9PM for the longest time. I hated that because nothing ever got started until 9 when my friends got together.

If I wanted something that might be considered a treat (candy bar etc) the standard question was "have you had one today?". Practically speaking it meant I could have one of everything as long as I didn't have two of anything.
