If AI is going to replace jobs

If AI is going to replace jobs, what will happen when there’s a drastic reduction in taxes, due to far less people working who would have otherwise paid taxes?

This is definitely going to be a concern and also for social security, which already is struggling to maintain the coffers. I have hope though, that when we look back in history, that even the industrial revolution showed us that the concern for removing human jobs paved the way for new types of jobs. Perhaps new types of jobs will arise out of this as well?

Never mind AI, what happens when more people figure it's not worth working a dead end job because it takes up all your time and doesn't offer anything except a lifetime of permanent drudge, when you can get that on welfare but without the work?
