Romans 11:23,25 KJV
And they also, if they abide not still in unbelief, (v.23) shall be graffed in: for God is able to graff them in again.
[25] For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.
It appears the reason they are in unbelief is due to the inflicted blindness (v25) explained by Paul as a mystery.
I'm sure Luther was aware of that during his tirade.
If that Jew in Luther's day died in unbelief...he was not saved. Do you agree with that or disagree?
