How should Biden respond to the death of three American Servicemen in Jordan?

Invade Iran
Bomb Iran to back to the stone age
Do Nothing
Get all our folks out of Jordan, they don't belong there anyway
Blow up some camels and tents in the desert somewhere and call it retribution.
Some combination of all the above
Something else

??

The war hawk in me wants to invade Iran or bomb them into devastation, but in reality there are a LOT of complications with that. I think the most likely scenario is shooting some missiles at a target of little value in Syria or Iraq related to the proxies that committed the attack on our forces.

Something fishy is going on. All we've heard the past few days is that the attacks were by militia groups sponsored by Iran. Now, suddenly, they came from an umbrella group in Iraq.

My guess is that they found an obscure group in Iraq to blame so they don' t have to deal with Iran. Now they can launch some cruise missiles at some camels and tents in Iraq and call it a day.

I am not so sure that it is really that fishy. Iran sponsors a number of proxy groups in Syria, Iraq, Yemen, Lebanon and "Palestine". We have been attacking these groups for the last several years at least, including the group that is blamed for this attack on our base. These proxies are supported and armed by Iran, in particular their Quds force, and also operate politically in the Iraqi and Lebanese parliaments, not to mention the ties of Syrian rebels and governments to Iran. But they also operate rather independently, albeit with the same overall goals as Iran.

In this case I don't think Iran is directly responsible, but they are certainly indirectly responsible much as they are for pretty much the rest of the mess in the Middle East right now.

Nothing says "don't mess with us" quite like firing millions of dollars worth of missiles to destroy a tent and a couple of camels.
