Dashcam?

Do you have a dashcam in your vehicle? If so, which one do you recommend and which ones to avoid?

I don't use one but periodically consider getting one. For myself I'd stick to a name I knew rather than some Chinese thing that looks like someone rubbed a balloon, tried to spell the sound it made, and then just used that as their brand name.

That was my problem today as I tried to search on Amazon and saw all these unfamiliar names. I want a product that will last.

I'm finding more and more that Amazon is all but useless, unless you want to take a chance on some unknown brand that may not have existed last week and may not exist next week. If GRUUYDBH accumulates too many bad reviews the people behind it just disappear into the ether and come back under a new name. Needless to say the fine folks at LYBRZPO will take good care of you. Perhaps.

I know Garmin does a range of dashcams. I can't say if they're any good, but Garmin has been around for years so they're probably going to be OK.

I have a Garmin GPS and it's lasted me 10 years so far. The On Off switch has fallen off, but it still works.

Just the front but I did buy the rear camera add-on. The reason I bought this particular dashcam is because it was recommended to me by a friend who is a State Trooper.
