The Republican National Committee has warned some of the 2024 GOP presidential candidates about attending an Iowa Christian organization’s Thanksgiving forum, saying it would disqualify them from participating in future RNC presidential debates.

Five candidates – former President Donald Trump, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley, entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy and South Carolina Sen. Tim Scott – were invited to the Family Leader’s “Thanksgiving Family Forum” on November 17.

I say they should ALL attend. I'd like to see how the RNC reacts to that.

What are your thoughts?

The RNC has signed pledges from Republicans not to participate in any other debates than theirs.

But, apparently the Iowa Forum is not advertized as a debate. More like a round table discussion. Thus there does seem to be a difference, which should release them from that pledge. But I doubt the RNC will.

DeSantis, Scott, and Ramaswamy all said they would attend anyway.

I think any who were invited should attend if they want to. They have nothing to lose if the RNC doesn't let them participate in any more of theirs. The debates don't change anyone's mind about who they are going to vote for, in my opinion.
