Is there any recent scientific information that man was really made of clay? I’ve been googling and can only find older articles.

Clay, that reminds me of that former muslim guy who got saved. He said the Quran said Jesus made clay birds. Not that I believe that's true, but it was one of the reasons this guy got saved.

and when you designed from clay [what was] like the form of a bird with My permission, then you breathed into it, and it became a bird with My permission

Clay? Dutch translation says dust, but the word also means substance, material.
I always assumed that He made us from material of the earth.

“dust of the ground.” The Hebrew is apar min ha’adamah. Apar is the common noun for dust, loose dirt or debris.

Clay may have been birthplace of life on Earth, new study suggests

Ok then, dust. Is there any extra Biblical info out there that says He made Adam or humans out of dust?

Only thing I saw is that link that they think life started in clay.

Why the need for 'extra Biblical info'?

Why not? If it’s true, there should be. The Quran mentions it. I know that.

From where did you develop that axiom?

The axiom you should be working from is this: 'What the Bible says is true whether there be no extra Biblical information to support or whether there be any extra Biblical information that contradicts'.

The Koran mentions it....so? Does that mean something to you?

Is the Bible the Word of God? Is the Koran the Word of God?

I believe these are important questions for you.

There was no one to witness it, so what use is it then? God says versus Allah says.
The Quran is just Mohammed who stole stuff from the O.T. Some things are the same.

That reminds me. He did create with mud:

Now as Jesus passed by, He saw a man who was blind from birth. And His disciples asked Him, saying, “Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?” Jesus answered, “Neither this man nor his parents sinned, but that the works of God should be revealed in him. I must work the works of Him who sent Me while it is day; the night is coming when no one can work. As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.” When He had said these things, He spat on the ground and made clay with the saliva; and He anointed the eyes of the blind man with the clay. And He said to him, “Go, wash in the pool of Siloam” (which is translated, Sent). So he went and washed, and came back seeing.

I believe the Bible is the word of God. Others believe the Quran is.

I believe the Bible is the word of God. Others believe the Quran is.

And we as believers, Christians, don't really care what others believe. For we alone have the truth in the Bible, the only written Word of God on earth.
