Animated/Non Animated Themes

Which do you prefer and why?

I'm finding the bats really annoying. They add no value to the site and merely distract from the content.

I'm not for the present bat theme, which, while cool, is a little distracting and at first I thought there were bugs on my screen! lol.

But generally, I'm sort of partial to animations. They make things fun.




(Edit: for some reason I can only see my animation while logged in).

I like non-animated personally.

I believe it's a setting for usergroups...people need to be logged in to view some things.

There is indeed: Account details - Preferences - Tick the box that reads Disable holiday styling.

That's what I did because I find animated themes to be very distracting.

See, you know more than I do. I didn't find out about that option until last week.
