Allah Akbar is the cry of the Islamist, the Muslim, for his god. He is not ashamed of it. He believes it. He butchers his enemies in the name of his god. And he in turn is killed for his actions in the name of his god.

Israel, on the other hand, moves as directed in accordance to the nations of the world. Israel moves to appease the U.N., or the U.S. Israel does what it can to defend itself but not on the basis of it's God. And it's God is the One and only true God who has chosen Israel.

Israel must abandon the nations of the world. Israel must turn back to her God. Israel must say we are here because God has placed us here. And God is our defence. And we will destroy our enemies because our enemies are the enemies of God.

Hamas is an enemy of Israel because Hamas is an enemy of God. Iran is an enemy of Israel because Iran is an enemy of God. Hezbolah is an enemy of Israel because Hezbolah is an enemy of God.

To Israel I say, don't trust the nations. Trust your God. Voice it in the U.N. Voice it when you go to war. Put the responsibility on God's shoulders. He has promised. Will He fail in His promises to Israel? No. But you must force the issue. You must make it Gods responsibility. You must declare it is only your God Who is great as He alone is God.

True, but only the remnant will not trust the arm of man...

Romans 11:4-5 NKJV
But what does the divine response say to him? "I have reserved for Myself seven thousand men who have not bowed the knee to Baal." [5] Even so then, at this present time there is a remnant according to the election of grace.

The remnant being, now, the believing Jew in the Church age. (Rom. 11:5) The remnant is not the Church, but is within the Church today.

But Israel knows, it is the only nation chosen by God to be a nation to Himself. It's Scriptures declare that. (Deut. 7:6) That is a goal of God. An entire nation of His people. Not just a remnant. And that goal will be realized one day. (Rom. 11:26)

In Elijah's day, whom Paul uses as an example, Israel existed as a nation. But it had turned far away from God, to the extent that Elijah saw himself as the only believer left in Israel. But God had a remnant of believing Jews within that fallen nation that Elijah was unaware of. (1 Kings 19:18) (Rom. 11:3-5)

My point being, Israel has it's Bible. It must quit looking at 1948 as the reason they exist as a nation. As a political and religious people they exist only by the hand of God. Islam is not so chosen, though they wish they were. In Isaac is the seed called. (Rom. 9:7) Not in Ishmael.

Islam wants to say Allah Akbar, and yet kill and slaughter the chosen of God. They certainly serve a god. They serve that evil spirit who is the great enemy of God. Israel, by it's own Scripture, should say, we are the chosen nation of God. Not you, not Islam who makes war against the chosen nation of God.

Of course only the remnant will believe. But Israel has every reason to believe.

My main point was (which I don't see you addressing) ...

"True, but only the remnant will not trust the arm of man.."

The remnant being all the 'called' from every tongue, peoples and nations. Echad, one people. IOW, those born again, who have a heavenly kingdom (without an earthly ruler), will not put their trust in man or his strength. Psalm 2 esp. v.6

I did address it in the first sentence of my reply. The 'remnant' is not the Church. The remnant is the believing Jew in the Church. They are a remnant of national Israel who should believe but does not.

There is no remnant of the Church. The Church is composed of all the believing.

I don't see any reference to a remnant in (Ps. 2:6) The believing remnant always speaks to believing Jews. (Rom. 9:27) (Is. 10:22-23)

Groan, I don't know where my mind was bringing up Ps 2:6, an eschatological Psalm. I meant Ephesians 2 esp. v15

Ephesians 2:14-16 NKJV
For He Himself is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation, [15] having abolished in His flesh the enmity, that is, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, so as to create in Himself one new man from the two, thus making peace, [16] and that He might reconcile them both to God in one body through the cross, thereby putting to death the enmity.

I won't argue that Paul was making reference to a Jewish remnant in Rom 9 & 11.
But I see no part of the Body of Christ that is Jew or Gentile. That's why I state, "True, but only the remnant will not trust the arm of man..."
I'm including both believing Jew and Gentile.

Anyhow, I'm sorry, I have derailed a thread that never mentioned 'remnant' and that I would otherwise wholeheartedly agree with.

Go ahead, have the last word and I'll bow out.

It is no problem. And, I don't care to have the last word, but just wanted to clarify my position. Nor am I interested in you bowing out.

The Church is certainly One Body. What makes it unique with God is that it is One Body composed of both Jew and Gentile. Now, it is usually believed, and I did at one time, that that meant the Christian is no longer either Jew or Gentile. In other words, we lose that distinction. And it is usually based on (Gal. 3:27-28). "There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female, for ye are all one in Christ Jesus."

But I don't believe this means a man ceases to be a man, or a woman ceases to be a woman. But as a member of the Body of Christ, no such position exist whereby any favoritism is expected. There are Jewish Christians and Gentile Christians, but we are One in the Body of Christ. In (Eph. 2:15) the law was abolished and removed to make way for the 'one new man'. But I don't believe our distinction as Jew and Gentile has been removed.

In fact, if we lose that distinction, how can we ever prove that the two are now one?

This distinction is important enough for God to provide, for the Jewish Christians, certain New Testament books. Such as Matthew, Hebrews, James, and 1 and 2 Peter. Are these for all Christians? Of course, but they are written with the Jewish believer in mind. And to ignore that means one will come short of what they are saying.

And, I believe, the Remnant of Jewish believers found today are found in the Church. And they will forever be part of the Church. But God's promise to national Israel, that all Israel will be saved, has never been realized, which is why there is always a Jewish Remnant. But it will be. (Rom. 11:26).

So much more can be said. We live, I believe, in very exiciting days.

Gee, Israel is blowing the hell out of Palestinian Gaza. And what do we hear from the Arab Islamic Palestinians? Nothing but whine and whine and whine. Aint enough cheese in the world to accompany that whine.

I don't hear any 'Allah Akbar'. Just cries of hate, and grief, and complaining to the nations of the world to help. Where is the great Allah?

Oh, I see. Allah Akbar only exist when the Arab Islamist's are slaughtering the Jews and western influence. Then they crawl back in their hole and whine about how they are so mistreated.

Typical Islam.

It is very interesting how much hatred you spread against Islamic people in this forum. I don't know how admins tolerate your insult to families who lost their loved ones, you say they whine while in reality they mourn for their lost ones. I don't know how can you call yourself a Christian at all. You may call yourself, but you are not one I guarantee you this.

Allah Akbar meaning "Allah is greater" is how they speak among themselves. It's a part of their religion and has nothing to do with terrorism as you depict it.

Do I hate Islam? You bet. Does Islam mourn the Israeli people they butchered on Oct. 7? Of course not. They rejoice.

Oh really? You say I am not Christian. You 'guarantee' I am not Christian. On what basis?

Yes, I know what Allah Akbar means. That is why you don't hear it right now as Allah is not looking so great. You only hear it when the Muslim attacks civilians and butchers them in the name of Allah. Then 'he' is supposedly great. Then he hides with his people in holes crying 'please stop this bombing'. 'Please don't hurt me'. The Muslim cries to the U.N., not Allah, to help them.

I don't really care what you label 'terrorism'. Islam is of the Devil. It is against the God of the Bible. In Isaac the seed are called. Not Ishmael. (Rom. 9:7)

What now?

Let's see if I can understand your logic.

Lots of Arabs (Muslims and Christians) being slaughtered = Allah not looking so great
Lots of Jews being slaughtered (supposed Holocaust) = No reflection on their deity

You said "Does Islam mourn". Islam is a religion, not a human. I guess you are referring to Muslim. Do tell how you know if they do or do not?
Yes, you are not a Christian. No Christian will ever promote violence against humans who can't defend themselves.

Stravinsk made a perfect point. Where was jews' God in ww2? That's your logic..

Terrorism is an act of violence against civilians by organized group of individuals who are not part of the military.
I can see you never spoke to a Muslim in your life while I had and still do. I know what they think on deaths of both Israely and palestinians.

For your information, Islam accepts Jesus's teachings in full. They do believe he did miracles, they do believe he was born of virgin Mary, they speak of him with utmost respect. Every time they mention his name they say "Peace be upon him". They do agree he will come again to Earth to defeat Antichrist. What they do not accept is him being son of a God.

In other words, as I said, Islam does not mourn the slaughter of Jews and others that took place on Oct. 7, 2023. Muslims do not mourn it. Instead they celebrated. How do I know? I can read. And, what is going on in Israel at this time is a war. You don't define who a Christian is by their participation or view of war. Try again. Why am I not a Christian in your view?

My point was you don't hear 'Allah Akbar' now from the Muslim. You don't hear how great Allah is. All you hear is whinning about how terrible they are being treated. They whine to the U.N. for help. They whine to the U.N. for a truce.

The Jews God in WWII brought the Holocaust upon them. Why? 1.) Because they are still in unbelief of their God. The same unbelief which resulted in Christ's death. 2.) Because God was preparing a people to go back to their land in Palestine and make up the Nation of Israel.

The God of Israel is great because though the Jews are under the judgement of God, He does not forsake His promises to them. Because they are the chosen is why they are under the judgement. And it's why they are back in the land, never to be removed.

As I said, I don't care how you or anyone defines terrorism. Islam is an enemy of Israel because Islam is an enemy of God.

No, Islam does not accept Jesus teachings. They accept only what they want to. And they certainly don't accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour. They respect the Jesus they created. Not the Jesus of the Bible.

Where do you read, please do tell. I can already guess, but do tell.
I am sure you don't know Christians are being killed there too, it is not only a muslim area. Ops, you didn't know that.
I explained who Christians are, and that's based on the Bible, sadly for you, you are out of the picture.

The more I read you, the more disgusting you become in my eyes.
You are so full of prejudices that you became blind. I pity you.

Just google the internet. Just watch the news.

Gaza is a Muslim area. Just because some Christians are there doesn't matter. Gaza is Muslim.

Your explanation is wrong, as I said. A Christian is not defined by his role or view of war. Based on where in the Bible?

Save your pity for another. Neither your disgust or pity moves me.

No, no. You tell me where you read it. Don't tell me to google it.
The whole Bible is filled with the explanations what one should do and shouldn't. Most of them are focused on one's soul, his thoughts. Your thoughts are malicious, full of hate, you will for people to die. Everything Bible stands against.

I know my pity doesn't move you for ignorant people are impossible to be saved.
