What’s a Bible verse that doesn’t get brought up in church for some reason?

This verse is very interesting to me, and I have probably mentioned it before. It is seldom addressed, but I think it is a very powerful verse.

(Ecc. 4:2) "Wherefore I praised the dead which are already dead more than the living which are yet alive."

Most of the events in the Old Testament Books isn't brought up in most of today's Churches. Elders are afraid too many members might complain. Sad.

One of the taboo Bible subjects not covered in most Churches is God's usage of the metaphor, 'woe to those with child', which is linked to the idea of one not remaining a spiritual 'chaste virgin' for Christ, and but having become a harlot. God also used that idea about Jerusalem in Ezekiel 16 when it originally belonged to the pagan Jebusites, and after He had cleansed Jerusalem but it still fell into pagan idol worship at times. He called Jerusalem a 'harlot' city in those fallen times. (I can hear the little ole' ladies saying, "Oh my!, I never heard such a thing!")
