We had bad thunderstorms roll through last night and we were fine, but then this morning the power and internet went out. We have a whole house generator, but it's not connected to everything.

Down here in south Texas, it has been a couple of months since we have had rain. We could use it. Just as long as it is not a hurricane though.

I wouldn't want a hurricane! We had tornado watches last night, and that's my biggest fear. The winds though, were the straight line ones that are as powerful as a small tornado.

We got a thunderstorm last night but it didn't affect anything where I live. We have been getting several storms a week and it's been much cooler than it was in July. And the high humidity is gone! I live in southern Ontario. Ottawa has had a few tornadoes this summer, but that's several hundred miles from me.
