What bible study made the most impact on you?

I remember going to the Bible study you are asking about, years ago. As to the exact title of it, I am not sure. Possibly Old Testamet Survey, but i just don't recall.

What I do recall, and will never forget, is the effect that study had on me. Not because of the subject matter, which I can't recall. But because of the Bible teacher who taught it.

What made the teacher so impactful? He had the gift of teaching from the Holy Spirit. Annointed. Something only the believer in Christ will recognize.

If anyone is reading actual scripture, the Holy Spirit works through that to bring someone to faith or to build up that faith. Even an Atheist speaking the word of scripture can have an impact if it's the Holy Sprit's will.

Of course, I agree. The Holy Spirit works through many people in bringing one to the faith or building up their faith.

If you're saying an atheist can lead a Bible class and be equally annointed by the Holy Spirit I disagree.

So, perhaps I didn't understand your original question. I am viewing this as one being in a Bible class. Are you just talking about ones personal Bible study?

As far as my own personal Bible study, I can't remember one in particular standing out. No matter the topic or Book I'm studying, God will always reveal something that I hadn't seen before, which is impactful to me.

I wasn't talking about a person (besides maybe Jesus) making an impact on you in your bible study. I meant which study made the impact?

Well, I just go back to my explanation in post #(3).

The first study where I sat under this teacher made the impact. And every study I attended, with him as the teacher, equally made an impact.

Again, as far as my own personal Bible studies, I don't recall any standing out more than the others.

I guess probably just studying various books of the Bible, taught by a wonderful Catholic teacher who used to teach seminarians, I think.
