That is true of people who call themselves Christian in both Catholic and Non-Catholic traditions. Calling oneself a Christian doesn't mean you are one.
It seems to me that such can be said of every person using CH. Each says "I am a Christians who accepts the Nicene Creed and Trinitarian Baptism" but that does not make it so, such is the implication of the reply you've given. Thus a person cannot say "I am a Christian" and expect to be believed. We in effect become suspicious of everyone, sit in judgement of everyone, and thus show ourselves not to be Christians because we disobey the Lord in the matter of prayer and judgement. Do you recall the Lord's prayer? And Matthew chapter seven?

People can be deceived, people can say one thing and do another, people can just outright lie. That doesn't mean everyone is deceived or hypocrites or liars. All we can truly use to evaluate the sincerity of someones profession of faith is what they say and what they do. Even then there may be circumstances we aren't aware of that would alter our perception. We aren't God and can't read someone's heart.
