John Lennon who wrote Imagine, an anthem of humanism and atheism, was briefly saved in the 1970's. He wrote a song, never released, bootlegged and available on You Tube entitled "You Saved My Soul", which described how he almost committed suicide. John would praise the Lord, try to evangelize others and attended church with his son, Sean. His newly found faith was vigorously opposed by Yoko Ono, who was involved in the occult. She apparently succeeded in driving him away from his faith. John was not long afterward murdered outside his apartment in New York City. This illustrates how we can never know when we will die and be called into eternity and how we must get ourselves right with God now. Hopefully John was saved when he died and will spend eternity with the Lord.

Horrible. My grand grandmom died from pneumonia when they came from Surinam to Holland in winter and it was cold. They were both christian. He was a teacher in a christian school. He remarried a woman who was in Scientology and my granddad was mad at God that his mom died, so he went into Rosecrucianism. He was the worst. He tried to pull ppl off their faith. He did get saved though last minute. God said to me: You've got the keys. Use them. Tomorrow will be too late.

We can never exactly know when our life will end, nor the lives of our loved ones, or those around us.

God gives faith and God is the one who repents people. A seed had been planted within John and we aren't sure if he totally turned away from the one triune God or not. Only God knows the heart of man.
