My men's bible study is about to do the second half of Hebrews starting the last Sunday in January. We did went through the first half back in the Fall.

Our church preaching ministry does expositional preaching through books of the Bible. We started the book of Daniel back in the fall and then took a break for advent. We will get back in the book of Daniel in the next few weeks.

Personally, plan is to read the Bible through again in 2023. This year I'm using the NIV. In 2020 I used the ESV, in 2021 the NLT, and in 2022 the NASB. My goal is to read at least three old testament chapters a day and one new Testament chapter. But it is not rigid. If I get into an interesting part of Scripture I may read 5-10 chapters at time. Also, I tend to read 5-10 of the Psalms a day when I'm reading through Psalms as many of them are very short. I have found that if I follow that plan I will finish the entire Bible sometime in November or early December.

My wife and I purchased the book The Common Rule and are reading it together. It is about how to shed the bad habits of American Societal pressures and embrace the habits of classical Christianity.

My church is giving its messages for x number of months based on the book The Story. I guess it’s not a Bible Study per se’ but a book my church is reading (if we want to read it) I plan to pick up a copy tomorrow or Wednesday. They ran out but are getting another shipment either today or tomorrow.

I have removed some posts by a member who had marked himself as Yes for believing in the Trinity, but on other sites with the same information he's posted and using the same email address as he has signed up here, he declared himself to NOT be Trinitarian.

It's difficult for me to be consistent with my own personal Bible study and to be active on a forum also. When you jump back and forth with so many different subjects, and must do a certain amount of study for them, it takes away from any personal Bible study.

I will say being involved in discussions lately concerning the Trinity has peaked my interest more in the Person of Jesus Christ, and to know more about Him. His Deity, His Humanity, all combined in One Person, Jesus. So I hope to do some study on that.

Also, the events taking place in our present day really encourages me to know more of the prophetic Scripture. The things occurring is certainly a wave coming in whereby the stage is set for end time events to happen. It just remains to see if it is God's time. So, I hope to do more study on that also.

Good day,

He was correct:

Spurgeon said, "It would not be possible for me too earnestly to press upon you the importance of reading the expositions of that prince among men,
JOHN CALVIN!"

Next we start the 12 Minor Prophets additional reading for me will include Major points from the Minor Prophets and the 2 Volume set by Boice.

In Him,.
