Jesus Christ is the Triune YHWH

Why is it important to apply the name Jesus Christ to the Trinity and not just the man?

“….no man can say that Jesus is the Lord (YHWH), but by the Holy Ghost.” 1 Corinthians 12:3

“Jesus Christ” is a composite name made up of the personal name “Jesus” (from Gk Iēsous, which transliterates Heb/Aram yēšû (a)ʿ, a late form of Hebrew yĕhôšûaʿ, the meaning of which is “YHWH is salvation” or “YHWH saves/has saved”) and the title, assimilated in early Christianity to Jesus as a name, “Christ” (from Gk Christos, which translates Heb māšı̂aḥ and Aram mĕšı̂ḥāʾ, signifying “anointed” and referring in the context of eschatological expectation to the royal “son of David”).

The name “Jesus Christ” thus binds together the historic figure Jesus with the messianic role and status that early Christian faith attributed to him. In Jesus’ own lifetime, his name, since it was common in Israel, called for a specifier: “Jesus the Galilean” (Matt 26:69; cf.21:11), or, more often, “Jesus of Nazareth” or “Jesus the Nazarean.”

Meyer, B. F. (1992). Jesus (Person): Jesus Christ. In D. N. Freedman (Ed.), the Anchor Yale Bible Dictionary (Vol. 3, p. 773). New York: Doubleday.

Therefore, any who profess that YHWH (the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit) has not came in the flesh is an Anti-Christ; “And who is a liar? Anyone who says that Jesus is not the Christ. Anyone who denies the Father and the Son is an antichrist.” 1 John 2:22 (NLT)

“For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.” Colossians 2:9

Isaiah 40:3

3 The voice of one that crieth, Prepare ye in the wilderness the way of Jehovah; make level in the desert a highway for our God.

Matthew 3:3

3 For this is he that was spoken of through Isaiah the prophet, saying, The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Make ye ready the way of the Lord, Make his paths straight.

Numbers 21:6

6 And Jehovah sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.

1 Corinthians 10:9

9 Neither let us make trial of the Lord, as some of them made trial, and perished by the serpents.

Genesis 2:4

4 These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created, in the day that Jehovah God made earth and heaven.

John 1:3

3 All things were made through him; and without him was not anything made that hath been made.

True, but have you considered the implications of your rejecting it? The Devil hates the name of Jesus. Why do you think the Antichrist pope got rid of it when it forms the only clear-cut example of baptism in the Bible?

You cannot say Jesus is the Lord (The Trinity) apart from the Holy Spirit's revelation.

And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.” Colossians 3:17

“To wit, that God [the Trinity] was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.” 2 Corinthians 5:19

I don't reject Jesus Christ, I reject your understanding things because it's heresy. That's why you are not among the trinitarian group here.

You do not recognize the Trinity in Christ. God is indivisible. You fail to realize the Son is the word of God who normally speaks for the trinity in Christ.

Oh, I recognize the true Trinity.

Not yet. “Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.” John 14:10 (KJV 1900)

You do not recognize the Trinity in Christ.
It's about Christ being formed in us.

We have read your denunciations of the Trinity before. No need to repeat them here again.

“Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.” John 14:10 (KJV 1900)

...and don't try to pass that verse off as defining the nature of God, because it does not do that and isn't intending to do so.

You cannot say Jesus is the Lord unless you have the Holy Spirit. The Lord is God the Trinity.

...and THAT isn't a definition of the nature of God, either.

You are just throwing at us whatever information ABOUT God or any one of the persons of the Trinity that you can find in Scripture, with accompanying guesswork of your own invention, even if none of it has anything to do with identifying the nature of God!

Only the born again can see the trinity in Christ. People cannot say Jesus is the Lord (Trinity) apart from that revelation. Proof? “Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord but by the Holy Ghost.” 1 Corinthians 12:3 (KJV 1900)

Well, that might be called progress. Now you are admitting that your definition of the Trinity is just that--your own invention--and that it is not the definition held by the Christian churches for almost two thousand years now.

Previously, you had argued that you were really a believer in the Trinity and the Bible's descriptions of the nature and identity of God, as though the disagreement here was caused by a misunderstanding.

The word Kurios (Lord) = YHWH in the LXX. YHWH is the eternal Trinity.

"Lord" is used in several different ways in Scripture.

“….no man can say that Jesus is the Lord (YHWH), but by the Holy Ghost.” 1 Corinthians 12:3
These statements, those in the quote above, are erroneous. Lord (Κύριον) is not YHWH (יהוה).

1 Corinthians 12:3
Wherefore] The connection of thought is as follows. When you were heathen you were carried hither and thither by the pretended utterances of your gods, and believed whatever they might tell you. But now you must no longer be the sport of circumstances. There are certain fundamental principles by which you may try the utterances of those who would teach you. Cf. an extremely similar passage in 1Jn 4:1-3. This caution was very necessary in the infant Church. In spite of the warnings of St Paul and St John, many were entrapped by the blasphemous ravings of men like Simon Magus, Menander and the Ophites (or Naassenes, worshippers of the serpent), as we learn from the writings of Irenaeus and Hippolytus. Cf. 1Jn 2:19.
by the Spirit of God] Literally, in the Spirit; i.e. inspired by Him.
accursed] Margin (and Greek), anathema. See note on ch. 1Co 16:22.
that Jesus is the Lord] Perhaps, Jesus Is Lord, or Lord Jesus.
but by the Holy Ghost] Literally, in the Holy Ghost (or Spirit), see above. Not a single true word can be spoken but by the agency of the Spirit of God. As far as the confession that Jesus is Lord goes, he who makes it is under the influence of the Holy Ghost. It is remarkable that St Paul has in mind in this passage those who deny the Divinity of Christ; St John, in the similar passage just quoted, the sects, which arose afterwards, who denied His Humanity.

In the Greek translation, kyrios was used to render the divine name Yahweh (יהוה‎, yhwh). Thus it became possible to transfer to Jesus statements that were attributed in the Old Testament to God.

Possible for scholarly Christians who accept the creeds and believe the teaching handed down from the apostles through the bishops but not possible for one who merely reads a book here or there and invents a religion of his own, as you have done.

If you are familiar with the Ecumenical Creeds, I align with them.
