Some examples from scripture? Everyone whom Jesus cast out demons from was a believer. Their sins were atoned for making it possible. He normally said, "according to your faith be it unto you".

How do you know if you are possessed? There are some obvious signs. One is anxiety present when you discuss them. A change in complexion. Fainting, unexplainable illness. Scripture also lists suicidal thoughts.

People walking in the light cannot be possessed. However, the Christians not doing so can.

Jesus didn't heal non-Jews. He only healed the Jews and Samaritans, who were also Jews, except on rare occasions (in reference to people outside of Jews and Samaritans).

Yeah, I think that is right. What is taken for mental illness a lot is demons I think. However, the extent of this I don't know.

That's why people need to be brought to Jesus and walking in the light. It's a serious matter.

Who do you know that walks in the Spirit?

Some people come across as authentic to me. I see a track record of good behavior and no phony stuff.

It depends on their motive. I think most I've met are con men and women based on how they align with the truth of scripture.

Remember when the movie "Exorcist" came out? People in the audience having demonic manifestations? I've seen this in home bible studies when discussing the topic. Have you ever heard it mentioned in your church? It would be no doubt similar, people getting sick, slumping to the floor. One guy became paralyzed with his face drawn and fingers crossed and immovable. A similar situation developed with a woman when a discussion at a prayer meeting came about.

Back when I was a Pentecostal, one thing they did get right was the reality of Demons in the world around us. I saw a couple of exorcisms and they were the real deal.
