Sorry, I haven't been active here. But I totally agree, there are MANY wonderful hymns - SO true, so glorious.

I LOVE when hymns aren't just a lot of emotional fluff (Luther: "All foam and no beer") as if all that matters is emotion, feelings. When there is a proclaimation of the objective, real GOSPEL, when it's CHRIST centered rather than self/emotion centered.

Is that Lutheran? Sounds like Dutch reformed with that organ.

Yes, that's at a Lutheran church. Most of the conservative Lutheran churches have organs as the main instrument.
