Does your town/city use salt or sand on the roads during the winter?

My town uses a combo mix of salt, sand, and small rocks/gravel. We have hills and once even the snowplow slid back down the street!

Neither, LOL. Couldn't resist. It rarely snows where I live and when it it does, everything shuts down. When I lived in Indiana, it was salt and when I lived other places it was a mixture with mainly sand.

Neither. It keeps the streets clean with weekly street sweeping.
