I LOVE your answer! SO important that your husband is your best friend. Otherwise, there's no foundation for when life struggles or marriage struggles come along.
One I met online and we've never met. That was over a decade ago!
That's a long time! Do you ever talk about meeting?
I have a best friend I met when I was 4. We were best friends until her husband controlled her and would not allow her to spend time with me because I'm a "bad influence". lol. Jerk. Anyway, they went to religious training and he was put in his place. Now we see each other as often as we can, but we live some distance apart.
I have a very good friend online - Lamb - who I cherish deeply.
And interestingly, after a very painful divorce, the ex has been a really good friend for the last 3 years. I've really come to appreciate him.
Finally, I do have a variety of friends both in my current town and also my hometown. I love them all, but one thing I miss about friendships is belonging to a group of them. I have a friend here and a friend there, but none of them know each other and likely would not get along well so I don't introduce them. I would like a group of friends though because there is more of a sense of belonging.
