I live in Utah and its been a big deal here. I know kids that come from homosexual homes and this decision to deny these kids baptism ends up making them feel rejected by their church and unequal to their Mormon friends.

I dont agree with blanket banning the kids but I do agree with the rest of it. I am glad that some churchs will not buckle under to be PC. The bible is clear about homosexuality and it is time that we live by it

I dont agree with blanket banning the kids but I do agree with the rest of it. I am glad that some churchs will not buckle under to be PC. The bible is clear about homosexuality and it is time that we live by it

The Bible is also pretty clear about slavery, yet we have discarded that and decided the owning of human beings by other human beings as property is wrong. :)

I agree that we are incinsistant but does that mean that we support sin just because not all will condemn obesity? I think not however it is a nice argument but does not excuse the fact that it is sin and cndonming it should never be the church

To be honest, I think any church has the right to decide what it will and will not tolerate from its members.

However, we are talking about the innocence of children, not the acts of the family bringing them for baptism.
