After you moved to a different town/city, how did you make your first new friends there?

UPS delivered our package to the next door neighbor's house and they brought it over. We really like them!

After you moved to a different town/city, how did you make your first new friends there?

Never have moved to a different town or city permanently. I'd imagine it would be hard to make new friends meet, but at least you'd still have contact with them on the internet, unlike the old days when they used carrier pigeons and fax machines. Maybe one day I'll move country abroad in a hotter climate to retire, but that's a tricky decision when I have everything here.
