I would want to see cutbacks in government waste before being willing to pay anything more in taxes. I know taxes aren't the sort of thing we get a choice in but I've said for a long time I consider it a moral imperative to pay as little in taxes as I can manage without breaking the law.

If Russia or China declared war on the USA and we suddenly found ourselves in WWIII. I'd be willing to pay more taxes to fund the defense of our country. Other than that....

With this lot in charge I wouldn't trust them with extra money, even if Russia and China invaded at the same time.

No "benefits" from the government could entice me to pay more taxes. There are no government benefits, just public assistance. Social security payments, medicare, etc. It is all about putting you into the welfare system. Unconstitutional from the get go. How our nation let things go like that. I can't imagine the founding fathers would have put up with it.
