Do you back in or pull in to an empty parking spot, and why?

I hate backing into a spot. I always pull in unless there are signs insisting I back in.

Don't always have the time, but backing in is easier than backing out for most situations considering we can better see what is behind us to back into a spot than to back out. I wish all stores would go to pull through spots instead of having them doubled up.

Easier to back into spaces, quicker to leave & statistically less likely to have an accident or hit a pedestrian, especially small children.

I just heard about a postal delivery truck backed up to put one more thing in a mail box that was missed, and ran an old lady down who had immediately gone to empty the box.

I back into parking spots. Here, too many people are preoccupied when walking through parking lots.
