Almost everyone has a "junk drawer" in their house. So, what's in yours?

In our junk drawer is scissors, some keys for the propane tank and generator, various kinds of tape, chip clips, and some odds and ends.

What is a junk drawer?

junk drawer (plural junk drawers) (US) A drawer designated for the storage of various miscellaneous, small, occasionally useful items of little value.

Now does mine count?

Junk - useless stuff.

To fully qualify as a junk drawer you need things like:

Batteries that don't work
Spare key(s) to the car you sold 10 years ago, or the house you don't live in any more
At least one hard candy that has stuck to the bottom of the drawer, or to something else
A short length of string - too short to be useful but tucked into a dark corner anyway
The phone you don't use any more since you upgraded (bonus points if you've upgraded more than once since you used it)
Small toys or games with some missing parts
