Is it possible to believe in both evolution and biblical creation?

The Bible is a book of truth, and science is a search for truth. If the Bible is untrue, then it’s not the Word of God.

Adam and Eve were created within the creation week. They were created to stand upright from the beginning. Human beings didn’t evolve from apes over millions of years. They were never hunched over like apes. That’s what the Bible calls “science falsely so called”.

“O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called:”
-1 Timothy 6:20

Twaddle.

You are attempting to make the Bible something it is not. Human's evolved from the same ancestor as the Great Apes with whom we share 95% of our DNA.

Not a reliable source.

Nope, they are just scientists. Not reliable, nor are those scientists who promulgate evolution.

No, création is a biased site. Evolutionary biology is proven science.

Were you there?

God was there and he tells us what happened,
God says there’s no death before Adam sinned. Evolution says there was lots of death before man evolved.

Do you believe the Bible or don’t you?

Also, Human and Ape DNA are not about 95% similar. They’re about 70% similar.

The Bible is not a history text either. You are busily creating an idol of your own imagining. Evolution happened. How do we know? Because modern medicine, biology, chemistry and physics are based on it.

Humans and chimps share 98.8 percent of their DNA.

Humans, chimps and bonobos descended from a single ancestor species that lived six or seven million years ago.

The Bible has tons of history.

And no, humans and chimps are not 98.8% the same.

When scientists look at the whole DNA strand, they’re 70% the same.

But there’s sections of DNA that scientists don’t know what it does. They call it “junk DNA.”

When they filter out the junk DNA, THEN they find them to be 98.8% the same.

But when you look at the WHOLE strand of DNA, without any filtering, then they’re only 70% the same.

And scientists are finding that the “junk DNA” is actually not junk after all, but actually has really important uses.

"People will believe anything as long as it's not in the Bible" -forgot who

Secular scholars also reject Bible prophecy and date prophetic text to after the events come to pass because of bias and unbelief.

True the accounts in Genesis can get a bit blurry but it's not due to absent science based date, for instance why would God explain to Adam that the world is a globe as if he would benefit from knowing that it isn't flat? The elements of the world are not really our concern, it's the human condition that matters.

Science has to be corrected over and over again, some of what science shows us now may fail later, there isn't much new to us under the sun.

Science is now starting to believe that the world is expanding, the model shows that the world began without dry land and the waters created aquatic lifeforms, then land appeared and that's when land creatures arrived.. what this means is that ocean life did not just up and decide over billions of years to grow legs and give this land thing a try... it's a reaction to the sudden appearance of land that some scientists now believe rapidly evolved land animals. They are entertaining the idea of ocean life being of the ocean and land animals along with plant life being that of the land. The model also shows the young earth as much smaller and growing in mass in time which means that a world deluge could have been scientifically possible as land mass was less than the land mass today... point being, science "mutates" in a way, it's never satisfied.

They never found a missing link and likely never will because this link never existed, mam did not evolve from a common ancestor with apes, fish did not climb trees, sea life has always been sea life.. what reason would cause a fish to leave the fish world and grow legs and decide to grow trees and become birds and humans etc...? Even if over the span of billions of years? Why aren't all fish walking around? I thought they got bored of water?

The expanding earth theory calls for rapid "evolution", land rapidly starts to appear along with sprouting plants and fruit bearing trees and diverse animals... sounds like creation to me, sounds like evolution-time was sped up beyond our comprehension.. but like the mainstream theory of evolution, this is but another theory.

Meh..

Post #11: Were human beings standing upright when they were first created? Or were they hunched over like an ape?

The Bible says that man and woman were standing upright from the very beginning.

So do the modern sciences, if people are willing to take off their blinkers and have a proper look.

===================================================================================

Post #17: The NT genealogies attributed to the family of Jesus differ from gospel to gospel. They are quite late in appearance and exist to support the hypothesis that he was a descendant of king David.

Matthew’s genealogy uses the technique of gematria (numbers assigned to letters) to establish in the Hebrew mind that Jesus was indeed the Son of David. Unfortunately Joseph’s lineage was cursed, and Jesus Messiahship could not be established by that line.

Luke’s genealogy establishes Jesus as both a physical descendant of David, and also as having the authority to become the Messiah, the latter being based on an established Scriptural principle.

Post #26: God says there’s no death before Adam sinned. Evolution says there was lots of death before man evolved.

Do you believe the Bible or don’t you?

1 Corinthians 15:21: For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.

If Adam’s sin caused universal death to commence, does that mean that resurrection from death will apply to every ant that has ever lived?, every cockroach?, every moth?, every animal?, every bird? every sea creature?

It would seem not. So the death being spoken of is human death.

Someone asked: “Do you believe the Bible or don’t you?”

Biblical creation has a purpose!
Evolution has no purpose!
God does nothing without a purpose!

Evolution is an idea borne in the days when people believed in spontaneous generation of life. Evolution is a "theory" (really not even a theory) that is thoroughly debunked by modern knowledge of the complexities of the biology of life.

Yea, the more scientists learn, the more complex they realize it is
